Mindfulness teaching is a also available on a one to one arrangement

I teach the Youth Mindfulness Kids Programme in local junior schools.

I teach Relaxation, including exam stress management and Mindfulness

to teenagers in schools and colleges.

Mindfulness encourages us to

to slow down and take the time to pause, rest, enjoy and engage with life with a relaxed, calm awareness of all that is around us and within us, in any one moment.

Mindfulness invites a way of experiencing life with less focus on the events from the past or the events of the future.

Imagine the joy of having less mental chatter, stressful thoughts and worry.

Each time we invite our attention to our breath to sights, sounds, sensations, feelings, tastes and textures of the present moment, we interrupt our busy minds and they become quieter and much more attentive to the present moment.

Learning about Mindfulness helps us to understand how our minds work.

Try this Mindful breathing meditation:

Sit comfortably in a chair, bring your attention

to each full breath. Stay for a while. It feels relaxing and you will be inviting your sympathetic nervous system to be less active and to relax.

When you invite your attention to each inhalation and exhalation, your body begins to relax and your mind becomes quieter.

to children aged 7-11 yrs

It is a unique experiential learning programme offering a comprehensive introduction to Mindfulness.

The 16 lessons build up sequentially introducing new facets of mindfulness with each lesson.

The first six lessons focus on on cultivating the core concepts of mindfulness: attention, intention and attitude.

As the course progresses children will learn to cultivate gratitude, kindness, resilience and willpower.

Children will learn about themselves and how to manage emotions and challenges in life.

Importantly the key foundations of mindfulness i.e paying attention to the present moment with openness, curiosity and warmth are continually strengthened throughout all 16 lessons.
